Job Description

As a Production Technician you will:
Perform tasks related to the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products in the Packaging Department.

Responsibilities:
· Operate production equipment without supervision after certification.
· Prepare documentation of activities, actions, and/or results.
· Clean and sanitize equipment and components.
· Complete duty-based packets by reading SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and excerpts from
technical documentation.
· Ensure proper documentation practices during production.
· Perform shift cleanings, including spot and more detailed cleanings.
· Perform visual inspections.
· Verify count, measure and check packaging materials to assure batches manufactured contain proper
components and quantities.
· Assist with troubleshooting and process improvement activities.
· Use SAP to track inventory and materials.
· Monitor production area and manufacturing records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Alert others (for example: supervisor, manager) when problems occur outside of SOPs (Standard
Operating Procedures).
· Monitor equipment for performance and problem indicators.
· Read, understand, and comply with cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and SOPs (Standard
Operating Procedures), including general safety, lock outs, etc.
· Wear required gowning and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required by specific activities.
· Conduct in-process checks to ensure batches meet specifications.
Skills:
Proficiency with Internet, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Strong knowledge of working with database systems. Have the ability to prioritize multiple projects/workflow and manage time efficiently in order to meet established timelines. Excellent customer service skills. Must be a team player and flexible with providing cross support to fellow team members.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Requirements:
1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical or cGMP regulated environment
Additional Information:
• Pay rate: $15.00 per hour
• Contract Length: 3+ months temp only
• Hours: 40 hours per week various shifts available
