Full-Time pastry chef
A new pastry shop/bakery, Choulala, located in Winter Park, Florida, is seeking an experienced Pastry Chef that will direct the preparation of pastries, viennoiseries, etc. in our fully equipped brand new commercial kitchen. We are looking for a competent and experienced pastry chef who is passionate about the industry, and is detail-oriented.
Baking and Pastry Making certificates or degrees
Previous experience as pastry chef requested, preferably in a local French pastry kitchen, or alike
Extensive knowledge of traditional French baking/pastry making recipes and standards
Solid experience with kitchen management with proven ability to lead, guide and train employees, and to multitask
Skillfully use hand tools or machines needed for work
Impeccable baking standards and clean work habits with a great attention to detail;
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with team members;
Experiences ass pastry trainer greatly valued
Professional demeanor and excellent presentation;
Proactive, punctual and a great communicator (must read, write and speak English)
Superb organizational skills
International experience preferred
Bilingual (French/English) preferred.
